In Stranger Visions, a project by Heather Dewey-Hagborg, the artist worked with biologists at Genspace to create 3D printed portraits based on DNA samples taken from objects found on the streets of Brooklyn. (objects such as chewed gum) Some find this creepy but I think this all equals amazing art.
